The Intervention Centre provides specialised professional assistance not only to persons at risk of expulsion, but also to those who seek help independently or through another institution. The professional team provides basic and specialised social counselling, mediation of social services in the emergency housing unit of the LUNA Women's Safe House, mediation of further assistance, accompaniment of the victim during criminal proceedings, provision of crisis psychological intervention, legal advice in the field of family, civil and criminal law, drafting and filing of petitions and assistance with other legal acts.

Since 01.01.2022 LUNA, n.o. is registered in the list of intervention centres providing assistance to victims of domestic violence under Act No. 274/2017 Coll. on victims of crimes and on amendments and supplements to certain acts.
The LUNA Intervention Centre provides professional assistance to victims of crime free of charge thanks to the project Providing Professional Assistance to Victims of Crime. The project is implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic within the framework of the subsidy programme for the provision of professional assistance to victims of crime.
